I haven't been on here often lately but all I read are the same old names. Just wondered if anyone has heard of, read, found etc. any newer, uncommon baby names.
BQ: In the spirit of the new spring season, what are some light, breath of fresh air like names you would think of? Just for fun.

One I recently came across is Aleydis (uh-LAY-dis). Abby covered it at her blog, Appellation Mountain (see link below). It's apparently a very rare medieval form of Adelheidis, from which we also get Adeline, Adelaide, Adele, Alice, and Heidi.
I really like Aleydis. I think it could be a good alternative to the overexposed Alexis or the one-woman name Alanis.
Bonus question: Some good names for spring would be: Blythe Lark Wren Starling (a bird) Iris Averil ("April" in Middle English) Maia Flora
