Bare necessities needed after a house fire?

My friend's house burnt down a week ago. They're moving into a temporary home for a while and the insurance company has provided basic furniture and mattresses and some dishes and towels. We're trying to think of the stupid little stuff they're going to need. Kitchen utensils, soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and stuff like that.

Any ideas on what all you'd need to have in the house if you were restarting?

Imagine your day from the time you woke up to the time you went to bed. What did you use, touch, etc.

For example: cleaning supplies: mop, broom, bucket, sponges, gloves, rags, cleaners, toilet brush, kitchen dish soap.

Laundry: basket, detergent, iron, ironing board, spray bottle, hangers.

Food serving: dishes, bowls, serving bowls, utensils, glasses, cups, salt and pepper, sugar, place mats, napkins.

Once you have a list you can pare it back to "necessities."
