What are your opionion on the these brands of digital camera? what would be the best bang for my buck?

I"m doing a little research on cameras. I've always used canon's but I want to upgrade to a new one. I've been looking into these brands, canon, Nikon, Pentax and Sony. This is what I'm looking for in a camera but dont know where really where to start. Can you help me find a good, camera for the following needs at a reasonable price? I want to go the cheapest route possible without actually being cheap...........

14-21 Mega Pixels
0-5 frames per second (shoots per second)
DSLR/interchangable lens option. I want to start shooting wild life, but have shot weddings, senior portraits, baby pictues, animals and family portraits.

I've had the same camera for over 8 years and while it's my baby I need to upgrade BADLY. I've sort of been out of the loop on today's new and upcoming electronics, so I need help. Pease and thank you!

Since I'm a Canon guy that's all I recommend. Of your list only Canon and Nikon are really worth having. These two brands are chosen by pros around the world for many good reasons, among them quality and longevity.

I own two canon dslr cameras, the 1000D and the 500D. Both are excellent. The 1000D does not do video but the 500D does excellent video.

I get my best results with my 28-200 lens by Canon - results like this.

The 1000D package with this lens = $900, the 500D = $1,100. Good luck

Fujifilm FinePix S100fs the camera you want to buy. I have had one for one week now and its amazing. I used to be an all out canon fan untill i played with my friends Fujifilm it was amazing and having had my canon for 5 years now i decided i also needed an upgrade, I did a lot of research online and price-wise the best option for me was that camera, the only problem was that amazon was to expensive... aft about two weeks of searching i found a great deal at fineelectronicsshop.com, here's the link http://fineelectronicsshop.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=1302. If you place megapixels as your first requirment and top it off with a framerate that goes from non to firmly in the semi pro range I sincerely doubt you are ready for a serious DSLR.

Go and look at sony, makers of cameras with specs set to impress your friends with.

Why do you need a 14 to 21 megapixel camera?
