How is it possible to get 4 warrants for two (traffic) tickets?

I was getting my driver's license. I checked with DPS, their site said I had two closed violations. I also found out I had warrants for those tickets. Check back a few days later and now I have 4 warrants. Apparently for the closed violations and the 2 warrants mentioned above. How is it possible to have 4 warrants now, for two tickets?

I was going to turn myself in for the 2 warrants, but now I wonder why I have 4.

Traffic ticket with court date & you dont show = 1 warrant for the ticket & 1 warrant for failure to appear. Do that twice & you have 4 warrants.
