Will I get into Penn State Main?

Question

Well, I have always wanted to go to Penn State Main. I am a Junior and the school year is almost over. I have taken the SAT once and plan on taking it again and I plan on taking the ACT. Here is what I have already:

My rank is  50/400 kids in my class.
I got a 1530 on the combined SAT....ehh :/ not so happy about that.
I have a GPA of 4.02
I take two languages.
I take 2 AP courses and the rest are academic courses.

I haven't taken the ACT yet so what should I get on it?
Will my SAT score go up? Is that a bad score?
Do I have a chance of getting into Penn State Main? 
Oh, I would probably go in a "undetermined"

Oh yeah, almost definitely. Worst that could possibly happen is you'd get accepted to a branch campus and have to transfer later on, but again I doubt it. Try this site for a good idea of your chances. http://www.mychances.net/

penn sttae is strictly a numbers school. That's the unfortunate part because your extracurriculars and pretty good and will hold mor ewight at a lot of other schools. another thing not going in your favor is the rise in applicants in the past few years the number of applicants to psu has almost doubled resulting in even higher standards. Since youre just a freshman anything is possible but as I can tell you know you will need to improve the gpa and do well on the sat( at least somewhere in the 1200s out of 1600). good luck!
