The lower to middle class masses have REDISTRIBUTED the wealth long enough. It's time for the rich to pay up?

"Re-Distribution of wealth" currently the lower to middle income groups are the ones being taxed and distributing the wealth throughout the country. While the $200,000 and above income groups are doing what they can to prevent them from taking their turn in the "re-distributing of wealth". That's always been the cyclical system of Democrat and Republican ideologies exchanging power, but now that economic times are down to bare bones the Aristocrats don't want to do their share in redistributing the wealth because that means sacrifices that their egos are not willing to make. We are ALL feeling the squeeze but the elites don't want to feel an even further of a "squeeze" because it is their turn to bear a significant part of the tax burden! The damn pirates are still trying to rape the country. Alexis De Tocqueville was right in his book "Democracy in America". The sickness of the Brit's is still genetically instilled in the hearts and minds of many of these descendants.

90% of all Americas wealth is owned by 1% of the richest Americans. A good 50% of that wealth is held in tax havens outside the States in order to avoid paying taxes. The only ones who are unable to avoid paying taxes are the working and middle classes who do not have the luxury of having their own accountants and tax lawyers. Republicans refuse to believe this, proving that they live in cloud cuckoo land.

no longer precisely. besides the actual incontrovertible fact that the equipment isn't progressive, which signifies that the prosperous do no longer pay a larger percentage of their income in taxes than they receive in advantages, they nevertheless grant an absolute greenback quantity it is more beneficial. operating example, I pay 15.3% self employment tax, those earning a million funds a three hundred and sixty 5 days pay a million.fifty 3% considering that they stop taxing those earning over $102,000. I pay 20% in income tax, those earning a million funds a three hundred and sixty 5 days in dividend and capital powerful factors pay 15%. yet my entire tax after credit is below $6000. The tax on the millionaire is over $152,000. for sure he possibly receives so a lot extra take advantage of favorable nationwide woodland leases and oil subsidies, yet he nevertheless will pay extra in words of money.

You have a warped sense of reality. The rich you speak up make up 5% of the US population but pay over 80% of the taxes government takes in. I thought you liberals were about equality and being fair? Or is that idea only for people who do nothing but hold out their hand waiting for their handout?

I guess the top 50% paying 97% of all taxes isn't significant to you.

Maybe it is time that the 47% who don't pay any taxes start paying their fair share!
