How to scan a document to my hard drive?
Computer is HP 64bit...running Vista. Scanner is HP Photosmart c5180 All-in-One.
Want to scan documents and photos to store on my HD.
Scanner is usb-connected to the computer.

Make sure you have the scanner driver set up, go to, control panel > scanners & cameras. Let it do an auto detect or supply the driver from disk if you haven't. With the driver installed, Open it and follow the prompts.
