I'd like to know why they stopped making chocolate bunnies a solid chunk of chocolate, instead of the hollowed out piece of junk they sell now a days. What a rip, at least they still make peeps.

There is absolutely no connection between Jesus and eggs and rabbits. The use of eggs and rabbits during Easter originates from the Zoroastrians for their god Nowrooz for the eggs and the rabbit is usually depicted bringing easter eggs during Easter. Therefore, the origins of Easter Eggs and Easter Bunnies are actually pagan.

Eggs and Rabbits are signs for Fertility in Paganism. The Church took them in to there own so Pagans would convert. If they didn't convert they were burned.

The rabbits, absolutely nothing that I can think of. Eggs however in virtually every culture have been the symbol of "new life". Early Christians picked up as a symbol of the Resurrection.

Eggs= for a long time the egg represented creation, every before Jesus came. So it's like a rebirth, Jesus rising from the dead, egg=rebirth...get it?

Rabbits? NO IDEA. You'd think it'd be some kind of chicken or something...
