Headphones for an mp3 player?

I would like a decent set of headphones for my iPod Touch and HTC HD7 for when I'm out and about. I currently use a cheapo pair of in-earphones that supposedly have "bass" but there's absolutely nothing of the sort and they're quite flimsy. Price is not that much of a concern, though I'm aiming lower than AU$150, I just want a set of headphones or in-earphones with some good sound quality and something resembling bass rather than this cheap crap.

I was also considering a gaming headset as an all-purpose solution for both my gaming and my music. Also took a look at the SkullCandy TiTans and they look like the sort of thing I'm after but I've read that because they have a metal housing static electricity is a problem.

I recommend the Zune Premium Headphones v2.

Yes, I know they are technically for Zune, but they works great with the my HTC HD7. I can assure you that this is in fact quality headphones.

If you only care about how they sound and not what they look like, you should consider Koss’s PortaPro headphones. The design is 27 years, but they deliver great sound for about $33. I read about them on whatyoushouldbuy.com If you're willing to spend just a little more - $79 - check out the Klipsch Image S4 earphones.
