Why do dogs make themselves throw-up by eating grass?
Saturday, mid-morning, nothing special going on.
Same food, clean water, no excitement in the area. (actually boring around here)
So, why does my dog eat grass just to throw up?

If your dog has an upset stomach one of the ways to get rid of it is to throw up anything in the stomach and by eating grass, the stomach will regurgitate whatever is bothering the dog.
Then there are dogs like mine that simply love grass, have no upset stomach, but seem to love greens of all kinds.
If your dog is eating grass and not vomiting, he evidently likes greens also.

It is a myth that dogs eat grass when they have an upset stomach. Dogs are omnivores they eat meat and veggies. They eat the grass for the greens however they cannot digest it so they vomit it.

Most dogs do that because he did not like something he ate before, so he ate grass to throw up the taste.
