virgin media uk billing?

we recently changed from sky to virgin and as normal you pay a month in adavance. We contacted virgin media about a free move and transfer,as we were moving house.
apperently , so we got set up installed etc etc . To cut a long story short virgin reckons we have to pay another month in advance, which i dont think is right because we were existing customer anyway and not new customers.
We have been in contact with virgin and they have been no help whatsoever !! any ideas!!

Call the better business bureau. .or the UK equivalent
