should I live in Barrie or Toronto?

Hi, I'm starting a new job and allowed to live in Toronto but must go to Barrie around 3x a week. So if I live in Barrie will I get bored to death, or be able to meet new friends, and stay entertained? What are GOOD areas to live in Barrie? Thanks and Cheers!!!

Why not live in between - there are lots of places in York region with all the attractions of Toronto close by, and Barrie a quick trip up 400.

Agreed with the other poster. Check out the suburbs north of Toronto along the 400.
