TLC (minus L of course, which in itself is a pretty big hurdle to overcome), performed on American Idol last night. By which I mean they half-heartedly danced around barely even pretending to sing along to the clearly piped in audio.
They were introduced by Lil Jon then they did No Scrubs and Waterfalls.

Huge hurdle! And I loved the original TLC... but yeah ~ so sad when Left Eye died. Impossible to replace.
Saw System of a Down in concert a week or so ago... Got the feeling all the way through it that Serj would have rather been somewhere else. And... I'm a casual fan at best, but was there with a friend who was a huge fan and she felt the same way. What's with having a "comeback tour" after only a what? 4 year break?? hmmm

Hi J.J. I saw last night's show as well. I didn't think TLC was that bad. Was kinda nice to see them performing (Chili's abs are still rockin btw)! LOL.
1. Probably Whitney Houston. A once beautiful & strong voice just destroyed (imo). Heard her tour in Europe was not received well.
2. Unpretty. Great message in that song regarding acceptance of oneself's TRUE beauty, not the physical.
