My sister and I were at the mall and passed by store that sold a variety of candy & nuts.
As we were looking at the display case, the boy behind the counter asked if we needed any help.
I replied, ¨No, I´m just looking at your nuts¨. My sister started to laugh hysterically.
The boy grinned, and I turned beet-red and walked away...

A lorry driver was driving along on a country road. A sign came up that read "Low Bridge Ahead." Before he realized it, the bridge was directly ahead and he got stuck under it. Cars are backed up for miles.
Finally, a police car comes up. The policeman got out of his car and walked to the lorry's cab and said to the driver " Got stuck, eh ?" The lorry driver said, "No, I was delivering this bridge and ran out of petrol ! "

Obviously a candy and nuts store would be hiring gay guys behind the counter who would be turned on by the "I'd like to look at your nuts" comment. Because straight guys would quit with the first customer.
So you missed the meaning behind the boy's grin! He was about to give you his phone number.

Reminds me of when I was in an ice cream shop with a friend... when she found out that almonds would be $0.50 extra, she told the waiter that he could just scratch the nuts...

well yeah, its sort of idiotic,but i admit i would laugh too. think about what you say and how you say it. but you shouldnt be embarrased cause if the boy smiled then he obviously didnt think of it as anything but a joke.
