What type of flower is this?

I came across it on a hike in Chile, in the region of the Araucania (IX region). It wasn't in the wilderness, but in a private property.

That is a tiger lily--One of the easiest and least demanding lilies to grow. They are so hardy you can often see them growing around abandoned farmhouses.
