Lots of pink accessories (neckties, handkerchiefs, etc.) at the Heat/Mavs game - anyone know why?

A couple folks in the broadcasting team were wearing pink accessories, and some of the towels they were giving to players were pink - anyone know why? Was it a charity (breast cancer, maybe) awareness thing?

I thought they were gay or something at first but then i found out it was for breast cancer awareness.
