Should I take German or Russian?

I have the choice to take French, Spanish, Chinese, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic, German or Russian I've ruled out the others and have it done to Russian or German, but I can't choose between the two.

I can speak English, Japanese, Mongolian and know a enough Korean to get me by but it's a bit rusty. So I'm not worried about learning a new alphabet or difficult grammar, I'm confident I can learn any language, I'm just torn over what one to take.

I love both Russian and German culture, literature, and history.

PS. I can't take both my class schedule just won't allow it.

Take German

I live in Latvia. I can speak Latvian, Russian, English and rusty in Lithuanian and German. I got to choose from Russian or German, and I took German, cause the alphabet in Russian is very hard. I can only speak, and read capital letters in Russian. German grammar isn't that hard, if you try to listen to everything in the lessons...
