Dell PC Tuneup will not open?

I have been using Dell PC Tuneup on my computer for the past 8 months but now all of a sudden it does not want to open. I bought it 8 months ago, and now when I try to open it I get message saying "An Invalid character was found in text content.

Line: 13 <Name>LocalDi8ae(C:)</Name>."

and then when i shut that down, I get another message saying:
"Access violation at address 13520460 in module 'PCTuneUp.exe'. Read of address 00000310."

I have tried uninstalling this program and reinstalling it & still get the same message.

Anyone know how I can fix this or what's wrong with it?

Uninstall it again and go to the C: drive and delete the folder Dell PC Tune up then reinstall the program. Then download ccleaner and clean your registry of all orphaned files. Also are you uninstalling the program through the control panel?
