I still don't think he'll leave Roush. He's first in points and he's obviously Jack's favorite. Ford is 10x better than Toyota right now and I'm sure he'll get as much money as he wants to stay with them. On the other hand, I think he'd have much better teammates at JGR. Not saying Matt, Greg or David are bad teammates but Matt and Greg are getting older and where they'll be in 5 years is a mystery. Kyle and Denny on the other hand are still young and will probably be where they're at now, if not better. JGR would be a powerhouse whereas Roush will be a mystery. Who knows if Greg or Matt will still be racing? Who knows if David will still be with Roush? Who knows if Ricky or Trevor will payoff and be a success in cup or be failures? You just never know. I know I'm focusing my point a lot on teammates but it's a larger part of switching teams than most people think. In my opinion, if he's racing for now, he'll stick with Roush. If he's looking to his future (and he should be because he's still young), he should definitely consider Gibbs. The only downfall would be leaving Ford for Toyota but Carl is a good driver and I think he could work it out and still dominate no matter what he's driving.

As I see it, the top three teams are pretty equal right now with Roush having a slight advantage. If Carl moves to JGR, Roush would fall off a bit and JGR would advance a bit. HMS would have trouble holding their own. It could be quite interesting.

Ain't gonna happen. Why would he leave Roush when he's doin' so good with them? He's got a friend who is on the team, he says. Or is he fakin' that too? And leave other drivers out of it, but I gotta say I agree that Joey was pushed. I mean, he was 18 with 12 Nationwide starts. He's 21 now and is slowly but steadily improvin'. He's young and learnin'. Give him a break, people.

I think he would if he wants a guarantee that he won't win a championship. Carl to JGR would without a doubt kill his career. Gibbs doesn't know how to run a team, and as a result, most of Nascar's worst personalities end up there (Hamlin, Busch, Ford)

Logano ain't a bad driver. He was rushed to Cup too fast. He has the potential to be very good but needs more seat time. If Edwards does goto JGR they will put Logano in a forth car or another Toyota team.
