Question for Capitol One or Chase Freedom users, what gives 10% cashback?
These cards advertise that you can get up to 10% cash back on select merchants.
From your experience, what are they?
Thanks.

Chase Freedom
You get 1% on everyday purchases
You get 5% on certain categories that revolve quarterly.
You get 10% from buying things online through their merchants online.
^^^ Do not use this option. Theses are extremely expensive online retailers.
Never stuff you would actually need.
Buying stuff that you don't need - is essentially throwing money away.
Plus, stuff could be found a whole lot cheaper at stores you drive to
Don't fall for the marketing monster - It's out to get you

It is CapitAl One with an A not an O.
In my opinion Capital One is the Best Credit Card I've ever used, and I am a senior adult.
I have never had a problem with billing.
A statement was paid late, I was charged a late fee and called Capital One to explain what happened. They immediately removed the penalty charge.
I use my Capital One Credit Card to pay for Utility statement payments, Telephone statement payments, Fuel purchases, Food purchases, even $2.50 cent charges stopping at a quick store for a bottle of liquid. I use the Capitol One Credit Card for most everything.
At the end of the year you can download and receive a print out of where you have spent your money the entire year, broken down into categories (Charity, Fuel, Entertainment, Clothing, Utilities, etc.) It makes doing your taxes so much easier. Also, the cash back (I think it's 3% of all your purchases, is free money saved that you would have spent paying cash. Always watch for sales, and be sure you need the item. Good Luck.
I keep a zero balance on my Capital One Credit Card. There online statement allows easy access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I pay my card off each week directly from my checking account; be sure to record this in your checking account. I find paying off each weeks keeps me from eating out too much and helps me to have extra money at the end of the month to put in savings.
Be sure to pay off your statement often. Don't charge unless you can go home and get online that next day or the end of the week and zero out the balance. There is nothing, NOTHING you need that you can't wait and save up to buy. I just charge to save the 3% then pay off at the end of the week.
