I have them winning the division at 13-3. The Steelers (as we all know) were just in the Super Bowl last year, and they played good, but lost. They still have one of the best defenses in the NFL. Polamalu is arguably the best DB in the NFL, he can shut down the receivers and make amazing catches, you never want to throw on him, and then the linebackers in Woodley and Harrison. Some say they play a little dirty, but they are extremely effective. That defense is solid on both ends and make every offense struggle each week. Their offense isn't that amazing, but it is decent. Big Ben is tough, and you know he will come back after big hits, you can't knock him out of a game. He has a strong arm, and he also plays clutch. He might not be the best, but he isn't bad. They have pretty good WRs, but not great ones, their running game is solid, too. Mendenhall is becoming very good. This team will win the division by a game, I think, and they will have a good playoff run, but I don't see them in the SB again.
What do you think? Thank you and God bless.

I dislike the Steelers more than any other team in the AFC, so when I give them rightful praise, it's clear this a team to be feared.
There is an apparent trend for the losing Super Bowl contenders to suffer from a lack of performance the following year. I doubt this will be the case with the Pittsburgh Steelers, they simply have tons of talent all across the board. Their secondary and O-line may be weaker points of the team, but the team made great strides to improve both of these areas drafting two Offensive linemen and two Defensive Backs this past offseason. And in reality I think experts and fans alike overrate mild weaknesses on more complete teams just to ensure NFL viewers that each team is on a more even playing field than might actually be the case. Even in these two supposed "weak areas" on the Steelers include the Pro Bowl talents of Maurkice Pouncey and Troy Polamalu. The Steelers have an absolutely brutal front 7 (arguably the greatest of the past decade) that does a great job to hind any problems in the secondary. As many experienced in football may know, a talented pass rush can take tons of pressure of your secondary. Their offense also has the biggest QB in the league who has plenty of offensive weapons around him. Along with a great blocking TE in Heath Miller these factors conceal many issues in the offensive line. The Steelers are one of the few teams that is pretty much loaded with talent all across the board and their defense hasn't aged too much as of yet so they look likely to take the AFC North again and make a deep playoff run. They also have one of the easiest schedules in the league running for them (as a Super Bowl contender I thought it should have been much tougher). I don't have them making the Super Bowl in my postseason predictions, but who knows. I say they have a 12-4 record once again, however I usually aim low on record predictions rather than high. I only predict a team to go 13-3 if I feel they have a good chance to go undefeated.
I do have to debate that Polamalu is even arguably the best DB in the league. I can think of quite a few players namely Darrelle and Nnamdi I would take over him. Why? Polamalu may be the biggest playmaker in today's defense, but those big plays come from a gambling style of play that also gives up big plays to the offense. His chancy play can easily be taken advantage of by elite quarterbacks and smart offensive schemes. If you watch to Greg Jennings and Aaron Rodgers discussing how to get past the coverage it's quite obvious they knew exactly how to beat Troy, and as we saw in the Super Bowl effectively removed him from the equation (the injury might have contributed, but was far from the whole story). I don't want a gambling defensive back I want one who may not come away with as many big plays, but effectively shuts down any receiver. That's what's so fantastic about Revis and Asomugha. I'd take them, and maybe a few other corners over Polamalu. Not sure about Ed Reed, he may be better in coverage than Troy, but he can't really tackle very well.
If they stay healthy, and that's a big if, I see no reason why they won't make another Super Bowl run! Their whole O line was banged up last year, so hopefully they can stay healthy this year and actually give Big Ben some time to make some plays!
Our schedule is also not the toughest which should help us out. We play the Browns twice, Bengals twice, Chiefs, Patriots, AFC South, and the worst division in football, the NFC West. So we definitely have some winnable games on the schedule.
They may not win their division, but I will be shocked if this team doesn't make the playoffs.
The Steelers will edge out the Browns and win the division, 11-5, and probably lose in the 2nd round of the playoffs. I just don't think they have all the pieces to contend with the elite teams yet.
Well Ben is on pace to win the superbowl every 3 years and it is the 3rd year this year since the last win, so you know where I am going with this. I am hoping it is a rematch of last year, Pack Vs Pitt again, with hopefully a different outcome this time.
