1) MAC brushes are the best. They have an overwhelming selection, but you only really need to get 3 or 4.

2) Pump out a little bit of foundation. Look in the mirror in the store. Rub/blend a tiny amound into your skin. If it dissapears, then it is your skintone. If where you put the foundation is visible, then its the wrong shade.

3) From the drugstore i personally love Revlon Photoready, which is liquid.

4) Pressed and loose give such similar effects. I would just pick any one from the drugstore, as i have found drugstore powders all perform to a similar level.

5) Bronze, golden eyeshadow with a little bit of eyeliner and mascara would compliment your skintone nicely.

Although i appriciate you want to buy drugstore makeup, sometimes going to a makeup counter like MAC is best if you have all these questions, because a professional makeup artist will answer all these questions for you, and help you pick out products, and match a foundation to your skintone.
