Polls and Surveys: Is it stealing to refill your drink at a fast-food place?

People do it all the time, right after they eat and before they leave. What do you think ?
Yes or no ?

When they say "free refills," this is not stealing. Otherwise, it could be considered so.
In my opinion, they spend roughly 5 cents on each cup and around 8 cents for the syrup (depending on how much they purchase), so as long as you only refill 15 or so times, you shouldn't feel guilty.

A friend of mine walked into a McDonalds and they didn't let him get a free refill for whatever reason so he comes in the next day with a big red plastic cup and filled up his drink and sat down. When he was done, he got up and filled it up again. By like the 4th time, they told him that he had to buy a drink and he pointed out the "Free Refill" sign.

Most places give you free refills as long as you stay at the store.
You can get them before you leave and take them, yes.
But you cannot leave the property, come back with your cup and ask for or get another refill.
