I collect antiques. Do you believe that energy can be attatched to an object?
Is sage ceremony AKA smudging, enough to get rid of it? My daughter had to get rid of an old desk to find peace in her room. I keep wondering if m y hobby is affecting my life in paranormal ways?

Things can attach themselves to objects.. & Sometimes you CAN do Smudging to get rid of the bad energy around the object. Or do A type of exorcizing.. that includes smudging.. I Have this problem .. Sometimes it is best to get rid of the object, but be aware that If a Entity is attached to an object & does not want to leave.. it can attach itself to the person.. This is Equivalent to having a string of bad luck that you just cant seem to be rid of.. this is also what is happened to me. now i have to go thru the ritual of A full Cleansing of both my home & my person. Im an empath so im very susceptible to these types of outside influences
Yes and No. Yes supernatural energy can be attached to an object and smuggling can get rid of most things. And No, your hobby isn't necessarily inviting more paranormal activity (depending on how sensitive you are to such) into your life. I also collect antiques, and I have had only one bad experience (where a toy would turn on by itself- without batteries and I would hear a child [perhaps] laughing and making inaudible noises). Just be careful, especially buying things from plantations or any place that has extra human tragedy than normal and buying things from people who seem to or admit to practicing any supernatural religions or summon things.
I am not sure. I have antiques and have not had that problem.
But I have gotten rid of some things given to me, when I felt that the person who gave them to me bore ill will towards me. Maybe it was a matter of simply not being reminded.
Yes, a lot of articles on the internet do suggest that "spirits" can be attached to objects. One I was reading said that they may be attached to an item because in life it held sentimental value for them, or it may have been involved in something bad that happened to them.
