Loving someone is loving them through the good and bad. Being in love means your infatuated with the person. Thats what it separates the 2 in my opinion.

YES there is a bigg difference between Loving some one and being In Love with someone. If you Love someone you are with them thru thick and thin and support them no matter the situation. Being In Love with someone means that you ddeply adore someone but dont see your self in a long term relationship with that person.. kinda like a deep infatuation...

Yes there is a difference. You can love so one without being in love with them! Do you love your mom, dad, sibling? Right but your not in love with them, right! Being in love means your willing to make a full commitment to them body and soul, forsaking all others. Some people can agree to have sex with other people out side of marriage and still love their spouse (though I don't recommend it). They have the abilty to seperate physical attraction from the emotional one they have with their partner. They don't consider the physical one cheating as long as they both consent to it. Others are unable or unwilling to seperate the two and thus commit to a life long relationship both physicaly & emotionaly. Loving some one means you only want the best for them and are will to help them in any way you can, but that doesn't mean your looking to marry them or make a life time commitment to them as a partner.
