Can you fix a PCB board if.....?

when you try soldering new LED's to a 360 controller they dont turn on and you notice that the connector used to be goldish in color and is now brownish like the board itself. I might have burnt off the connection.. not sure the lingo for it, but ut there a way to fix it???

Sounds like you heated off the copper and are down to the fiberglass.
The only thing you can do is scrape away the soldermask (green) over and existing copper area and then tack jumper wires where the copper is missing. The wires have to be sized relative to the trace. So for a small trace, use a small wire. For a large wide trace, use a heaverier thicker wire gage size.
That is the best you can do.

there are many aspects to it, temp, rosin core solder and heat not applied directly to the board but the pins.

cannot see what it is like now so hard to advise you
