Should I upgrade to this Mac?

Hi, I've been thinking about upgrading to a 2.16 ghz dual-core, 3gb, 20 in iMac with Snow Leopard (the white plastic version), which I found a really good price of $400. Is it worth upgrading from my 2.3 ghz single-processor AMD Sempron, 2gb Dell budget machine I bought in 09? I use my computer for web browsing, email, video/audio chat, office applications, making home movies, and the occasional java game. I currently own a iMac G3, so I have already "delve" into the world of Apple before, and I would like to get a Mac to replace my current Dell. Is it worth it?

That is not an much of an upgrade. all you are getting is a dual core, but it is slower (it will boost overall performance, but not by much) but if you want to go for apple, it's not a bad price. btw, what is the 3gb you are referring to?
