I was recently kicked out of my house and I need to know what to do next?

Two days ago my mother kicked me out of the house (I'm 17). I need to know what I can do because I don't have a place I can permanently stay at, no job, no car, pretty much nothing. I need to know if there is a number I need to call, something I should do legally, I really don't know what to do. All answers are appreciated, thank you very much.

Not for sure, but I would think being under the age of 18, you are still considered a minor. Your parents are still legally responsible for you. Contact the local police or child protective services. I just don't think that she can do that. It might cause some problems for her, legally, but oh well. They will either assist you with placement in a safe environment or help solve the problem. In the mean time be careful out there, as 17 is still pretty vulnerable in this wicked world.

If you are in the UK, then contact the citizens advice bureau. You also need to go to your local council offices to ask about being housed, although it may only be a bed and breakfast for now. Go to the job centre to ask about any benefits you may be able to get until you get a job.

Good luck, don't become another statistic, make sure you have a successful life, get a job, pay your way in life and you will be fine.

I'm in the same situation. You can go to social services and they will find you a place to live (hostel probably) and they will sort out all the benefits your entitled too. Or you can go to the citizens advice buero and they will help you sort out your benefits, then you can go to the housing association and they will look into your situation and find you a house/flat

what country are u in . if Australia homes west would be ur best bet they put u on the priority list for a house, while u wait for that they give u a list of numbers for shelters , short term accomodation and hostels etc. to ring so u have sumwhere to stay. other best bet would be to try and find a job while ur trying to find sumwhere to stay .
