What's the least expensive way to move boxes from Richmond, VA to South Florida?

When I moved to Florida last year, I left about 20 boxes in my parent's garage in Richmond, Virginia. I'm trying to determine the least expensive way to move the boxes to Florida.

Boxes have linen, books, old financial statements (e.g., credit card), clothes, dishes, etc.

Trying to decide if I should.....

1) Rent a truck
2) Hire a moving company
3) Ship via UPS
4) Ship via USPS
5) Ship Fedex Ground
6) Drive 4x4 w/ trailer attached, get boxes, drive back.

UPS and Fedex will cost a lot. A whole lot.

If you rent a truck, it is best to hire one from the leading companies. Some of the other ones are not honest. They have been in the news. They get your things for one price and then demand more money.

If you own a truck and trailer that would be good .
