Where do I keep my guinea pigs/cage?

Ok, so I am getting 2 guinea pigs this August. (sometime early August) And the cage is BIG, it is 8 square feet and 14 inches high. But there is no way its going to fit in my room.
My parents will NOT let it be outside my room in the hallway by our balcony. Not in their room. (Absolutely not). NO kitchen, living room, no, MAYBE dining room, (I really want them to be in my room though), I will not have them stay in the garage. My dad said I have to keep them in the basement but I am having none of that. They will not stay in the basement, its too cold, its unfinished, there are bugs, its dark, and no one ever really goes down there. THEY WILL NOT. I want to see what the cage looks like in person to see if it might, maybe, possibly fit in my room hopefully. So I'm kinda confused and helpless, please answer. (no trolling)

If the cage can fit in your room, put it there. but if it cannot, see if you can put it in the dining room.

The dining room I guess if it wont fit in your room. My guinea pig runs and the wood bedding gets thrown out of the cage so It sounds like your parents wouldn't want that so you would have to clean a lot inn the dining room and you may not want it so close to your bed. The cage sounds like major ginomous

C&c cage? Anyway I have my cage in my dining room. It is a 3x6 (Much bigger than your cage) I fit it in a corner in my living room. It fit's nicely, most of it is behind piece of furniture (Still its easy to Access the pigs) When they were in my room I had them on a banquet table, the cage was a 2x5. Under the table I had my supplies for them and some of my junk.

Watson- It's bad for guinea pigs to live outside. I won't go into to details but it's better for you and them to stay inside.

Keep them in the dining room if you have to.
No the guinea pigs should not stay in the basement.

I had guinea pigs and I kept them outside at the back.

That is a massive cage! Well you said you have a basement, so maybe clean out the basement and move some of the useless stuff from your room down there. Then maybe you could fit it in there.
