My HTC Desire HD keeps dropping wifi signal after upgrading to 2.3. Anybody else having the same issue?

I upgraded my HTC desired HD from 2.2 to 2.3. Same wifi router and same network configuration was flawless on my HTC with 2.2 but ever since I upgraded, it keeps dropping. Wifi disconnects and then connects again and then drops again. 

Anybody else having this issue? Any solutions?

It appears that my phone does not get the right information about the Default Gateway when using DH CP as it was set to 0.0.0.0. After setting the phone to use a static IP I could change the Default Gateway and solve the problem.
Now the question is, why doesn't my phone get the right Default Gateway from my server after updating the phone to 2.3.3
