2000 Ford Explorer won't turn over?

I turn the key and hear nothing.

Headlights come on and are bright, this is not a battery issue.
The starter relay in the fuse/relay box does click.

I let the truck sit overnight and it started just fine the next morning, just to leave me stranded today.

Any thoughts on where to start troubleshooting is appreciated.

Thanks. Mike

Headlights on is not a good battery test, get the battery load tested or get a jump start, if it starts, replace the battery.
