canon eos 100d or nikon d60 or olympus e420 or samsung nx10?

Question

if they are almost of the same price (used market), olympus e420 10mp with zuiko digital 14-42mm kit lens, and canon eos 1000d with 18-55 efs kit lens (not the ism).. almost the same package and condition, both have live view, both are not yet image stabilized.

nikon d60 with 18-55mm vr lens (except this one has no live view, but with image stabilizer)
same package items included...

how about that dimunitive mirror less (although a bit nmore expensive) dslr? or evil samsung nx10 with 18 to 55mm lens live view, and with video

which one shall i choose?

another consideration lurking behind
(same priced as above)

my criteria would be:
image quality
good for moving objects, kids, closeup, indoor and night shots
easy to use
portable and light
cheaper and widely acccessible accessories and supplies
possible to be used in a computer to take shots like those in photo booths
reliable and durable

The best camera of the bunch is the Nx10.

Really.  The i-control lens is a thing of technical astonishment.

But don't buy it.

No system range and in 2 years nobody will have heard of it.  Shame, great great little camera.

Olympus: only interested in micro four thirds.  Buy a PEN instead for future proofing.  Or don't buy.
Olympus, like Minolta and Pentax, made off-beat cameras with excellent optics.  Their SLRs have never really set the world alight.  their E1 & E3 were like the old bridge cameras the E10 and E20.
Their compact DLSRs were underspecified and dull.  The only notable model was the E-330 which started the live view revolution, albeit through a stupid rangefinder optical path. And it was pig ugly.

Wheras an EP1 with pancake lens.  Yes please.  But you aren't looking at those....

So it has to be the Nikon or the Canon.

Better lens on the nikon.

I am a canon man though, but I am not using your camera, try both in the hand.

Can your fingers find the buttons when its at your eye?

Can your head work out the menus?

Are you going to feel happy using it?

This is the most important thing, other than avoiding regular 4/3rd and NX, which will never be heard of in five years time.

Well, Nikon is really good.
Samsung is not a pro. If you get what I mean. It has barely been 2-3 years since it started releasing it's own laptops and cameras. So be least bothered.
Canon 1000d is cool.
Well, check for Nikon D3100 and D90.
I've been using D3100 since quite a time. Its picture quality is amazing.
