so in the seasons and episodes of the little house on the prairie the story is about the ingalls family. but in teh last season only laura remains. were and what happens to her family. her parents and also her sister mary.

In season nine, Michael Landon(who played Pa) decided to leave the series as an actor. He only wanted to work behind the scenes. So they wrote it so that most of the family would move to the city. A new family moved into the "little house".
Mary and her husband were written off the show too and supposedly moved back East so Adam could practice law.
