Im applying for Unemployment benefits and I was laid off by one job and I quit the other.. In my claim I had to file for both and the job I quit is contesting my benefits... If I lose the case with the job I quit will I still qualify for benefits with the job I got laid off from?

What? wht are they doingnthat, what are you supposed to live on thin air.
You need to contact your local politican and MAKE them help you and take your side, and fight your corner, thats THEIR JOB.
Also i say, join a union, you may have to pay though, but i hope that may be able to offer you some better assistance, more than the politican,
if you got laid off from your job, and it wasnt deliberate, eg you didnt deliberately get yourself fired, eg by not turning up, or doing something to get your fired, so if you got laid off, beacuse you werent up to the job, or not hitting your target, or they laid you off because they couldnt afford to keep you on, i dont see a problem with that, but tell the union, and try and join a good one that can support you, and keep on perserting your politician in your area, and all the politicans until they ge off their lazy buts and do something positive to help their people, because otherwise they are LIARS. Otherwise contact Barak Obama, because hes the only honest politician i can think off. Hes a good guy.

Quitting, resigning, or abandoning a job are all involve a voluntary decision to stop working and receiving a paycheck. You will not qualify for unemployment benefits from the job that you were laid off from if you quit another job. By quitting a job you made a personal choice to become unemployed. You would not be in these circumstances if you had not quit. The state will view this as your choice not to have a paycheck. Quitting or turning down any reasonable offer of work disqualifies you from receiving unemployment compensation. You can live off your savings until you feel like finding a new job.

That is expected. you should get benefits from the job you were laid off from.
