Natural ways to lighten hair/get highlights?
I have fine, long, dark blonde/light brown hair. I'd like to lighten it a little bit and get some highlights. I'd still like it to look pretty natural, not shockingly bright blonde all of a sudden.

Put lemon juice in your hair and sit in the sun for a half hour. To darken hair put cranberry juice in your hair and sit in the sun for a half hour.

Go out into the sun, it naturally lightens your hair. You could also use lemons to make your hair lighter. You could also buy some conditioner to bring out your natural highlights like "Sheer Blonde". Hope that helps :)

You could use a little lemon juice in your hair before going in the sun. Lemon juice does very subtle highlights that have a natural sun kissed look.

Try John Freida Sheer Blonde shampoo or apply lemon juice to the areas you want highlights in.

I heard lemon juice works. Sun-in also works and it's heat activated so you can just spray it in damp hair and blow dry it. My sister had dark blonde hair and the sun in lightened hers nicely and it was gradual too so it looks natural. You cam get sun in at walmart or jewel
