What's your stereotype?

Here's mine
--I'm a white girl who lives in the suburbs = I must lead an easy life without problems
--My parents are divorced = I'm deeply disturbed and I want you to talk to me about it even though this is the second conversation I've ever had with you
--I am very into art and have taken or will be taking all available art classes at my school = I must be a weird art nerd who only hangs out with her weird art friends
--I play violin = I must be a stuck up orch dork
--I've never had a boyfriend = I must have little to no social skills
--I am christian = I must pass judgment on all I encounter with my nose in the air
--I have anxiety attacks from time to time = my parents must have screwed up (or maybe I just have anxiety attacks from time to time?)
--I get good grades, take difficult classes, and am on the academic decathlon team = I'm an overachiever and I must have absolutely no life and think myself above everyone else because I'm lucky enough to have academics come easily to me
--I frequently restyle my hair or change it's color slightly and I usually wear a bit of makeup = I have low self esteem
So how does your school/community/society categorize you?

I prance around in the rain a lot. I'm not sure if that means anything.
I have 3 friends.

O.O I have no idea what that would be lol
I'm a pothead, so I must be stupid and lazy.

It all depends on the person categorizing me. In a lot of ways, my stereotypes are similar to yours. Easy life, art weirdo, orch dork, virtuous/judgemental, overachiever with no life, low self esteem, and a few others. A lot of people have different labels for me, but nobody seems to realize that you can't fit everyone into one stereotype and think you know them. I, along with everyone else in the world, am a unique individual. You can't fit me into a stereotype without actually knowing who i am as a person. Yea, i've got a high average and work my *** off, but i like to go out and party. I like to change my hair, or dress up and wear a bit more makeup from time to time, but i don't have low self esteem. I know this was more than what you asked for, i just wanted to make the point clear that stereotypes shouldn't be taken too seriously :)

When people get to know me, they usually love me. I don't have any enemies or anything and I'm pretty much cool with everyone I know. But here's what people sometimes think before they get to know me personally...

I have long hair and I am Indian, Mexican, Caucasian and black (but mostly black), so since I am black, people assume that my hair is weave or I have really long extensions...but I've never worn weave or extensions in my life. I just grow my hair out.

I have straight teeth - I must have had braces before. And it's true, lol. I did.

I'm a cheerleader - I must be really positive, super-happy, and maybe a bit annoying because I'm so cheerful? I am almost always smiling and in a good mood and I just like to brighten peoples' day and I'm just nice to everyone and cheerleaders are supposed to be role models...but I'm not all prepped up and overbearing with it.

I have an athletic body - I must be healthy and good at sports...which is true.

I love school and is in all honor classes and get all A's and B's - I must have no life and I'm an overachiever, yet I'm really smart and only three people are in honors classes that is my age. :/ (Me included), so I must be really stuck-up and proud of myself to have the title of being one of the few of my main ethnicity that is in the highest level classes in school.

I do homecoming committee - I love to party. And truth is it is fun to plan, but I hate dancing, so parties are not my scene. Lol.

Guys are always chasing after me - I must have some type of secret. (People are always tryin to find dirt on me, but I don't send guys naked pics or anything like they expect. I'm actually not interested in anyone at the moment).

I go on vacations a lot - I must be knowledgable because I've seen a lot of the world and my family is wealthy.

My room is mostly pink - I'm girly. Which is true.

I love animals - I must have a huge heart.

I'm a Christian = I'm stuck up and judgemental and pushy on my religion
I have anxiety attacks from time to time (just like you, and a few years ago I had terrible anxiety) = I'm strange and abnormal (I had an anxiety attack in school a few years ago and I can't even count all the weird looks I got that day).
I'm shy = I'm boring and dull
I'm not into guys/boyfriends = I'm immature
My family is adopting from Ethiopia = my family is overlooking the need in our own community and want to make a big deal out of a kind act
I love young kids and babysitting = I'm immature
I wear glasses = I'm a shy, ugly nerd

Society includes EVERYONE, including you. Don't blame it for all your problems when it's really just one person that said something that set you off.

1. I don't know who my biological dad is = my mom must've been a slut.
2. I'm Jewish = I must like Gefilte fish and bagels. Subsequently, I'm also rich and control the media.
3. I'm going blind = My life must suck beyond comparison.
4. I don't like people = I must've been abused.
5. I listen to weird music, mostly oldies = I must be trying too hard to be different.
6. I'm smart = I must be a total genius and have no life whatsoever besides learning.
7. I get straight C's = I must be pretending to be smart, because no smart person only gets C's.
