Hey, I am thinking about.adopting a severe macaw but I am only finding vague info about them online.
Please tell me the pros and cons about them?
I know and understand the responsibilty, care, time, money, commitment, and everything larger birds take.

Yes, severe macaws make good pets, but please understand that if this is your first bird, I mean big bird like cockatoo, not a parakeet, or tiel then a macaw is NOT going to be for you. Youn may have all the time and money but it's nothing like the actual expierence with birds. I'm sorry if this wasn't really what your looking for, but it may just be something to think about . . .

There awesome a bit smaller but still have the attitude of a big one There kind of like a conure and greening wing macaw as far as there characters but each ones different Your best getting a younger one or one that you can handle before you buy unless you look forward taming one If you go on youtube you can watch videos of them
