My computer has a virus!!!!?

When a opened a spam, my computer got a virus=( and so i searched it on online and tred to fix it. It's dat one virus where it hides all ur programs and such... I followed da directions( downloaded malwarebytes, anti-malware to clean it up & unhid da programs) Da problem IS my programs are still kind of hidden and whenever i wanna to watch ANY videos online, they r sooo slow( the motion of da video is not natural) it stops and plays for like 5 seconds then stops and plays for 2 sec. and so on. PLEASE HELP!!! I AM GOING CRAZY!!!!! anything would really help! thanx

So basically the virus on my computer is making my programs(from the start menus and icons too) "hidden" so u cant see them but they r still on da comp. and also for some reason right when da computer got infected, the videos on the internet became a problem too. they basically stop too much.

try a online virus scan or restart your pc in different mode with no networking and do a virus scan. or try these steps  http://community.gogeeks.in/Thread-How-to-remove-a-virus-from-your-pc-manually

I would boot into safe mode and back up all of your data to an external HD then format then re-install the OS. You could try to un-check hidden files and folders re-boot then check it againto hide hidden files but that might not work. worth a try.
