Isn’t ‘soul leaving body’-myth as absurd as ‘vision leaving eye’-proposition?

So, Can soul ever leave body if the former is the experience of having body?

Herpetara : It is time for confirmation. Who would do that? The sovereignty of unprejudiced analysis by the most ordinary ought to be subscribed to. Hackneying of the term 'science' with conceited connotations needs to be got rid of.

Sounds about right. Kind of like 'mind leaving brain.'

I didn't go to the link, but I would recommend a book to you "Ghosts, Werewolves and Witches". It goes into the Celtic belief that we have more than one spirit and that the world 'soul' is totally inaccurate and inadequate to explain this phenomenon.
Traveling via one of the three spirits that inhabit the body, the Double, has been the work of Shamans for thousands of years. Tons of scientific documentation as well as eye witness reports cannot help to have one conclude that travel by this spirit Double to other places is possible. But only if you are well trained.
