Isn't the sword .gun,bombs the modern way to make one get out of the way and hide so it is the ancient way too. It is not the way of true spiritual leaders. How many times the word sword is used means absolutely nothing in regards to your question.If you tell me to believe your right or die i think probably i would just say ok your right.

So you would have us ignore the history of Islam being spread by the sword since the day it was instituted. There are more than enough places in the Quran telling the faithful how to treat non-believers. Don't befriend them, don't trust them, don't help them, kill them wherever you find them. Not that there were not instances of Christianity being spread by the sword. Strange how supposedly peaceful religions always swim in a sea of blood.
