I'm getting sick of people asking about Teraforming a planet. Please shut up, we will not Teraform within our own lifetime, so why are you wasting your time with these dumb questions and not asking questions that can help the world. Like how can we limit global warming.
Think if people would just shutup and spend as much time on helping OUR OWN WORLD as much as they do about Teraforming another planet, the world would be a much better place.

Alot of it comes from reading a lot of bad science fiction. There's no need to terraform anything if we develop the right sources of energy and learn to control our use of the environment.

As far as I know, nobody is pouring any money at all into a terraforming project. It's all just conjecture at this point. Furthermore, the people who should really be focusing on global warming (i.e., climate scientists and politicians) aren't being distracted by the notion of terraforming because they know we're not anywhere close to being able to do it. So I don't see what harm it does if somebody wants to speculate about it. If it annoys you, just avoid the speculation.

Global warming or not the truth is we can not live on this planet forever, humans should look to space and other worlds to make sure we can continue to evolve, dealing with global warming in the mean time should also be a main priority, lets do both!
