Suppose somehow a ten-foot wide hole was bored down through the Earth's center and clear thru to the surface.?

What would you experience if you were to jump into this bottomless pit? What would an observer with the tools to monitor your movement observe? Where is it, that you guess, your movement would come to rest? You may pretend to be impervious to extreme heat and any friction from bumping happenstance into the sides of the tunnel now and then. Presume the tunnel is tenacious in keeping itself straight and clear. Thank you.

You would accelerate until you reached terminal velocity. You would then pass the centre of the Earth and head towards the other side until deceleration caused by gravity would bring you to a stop, whereupon you would fall towards the centre again. You would oscillate through the centre a few times until you had no more momentum, whereupon you would come to a halt at the centre.

when you reached the center of your gravity you would be crushed by extreme pressure, but you would stop mid center. you might bounce back and fourth aka going past the middle a small way then boomeranging back until finnally being in the middle.
