My skateboard has a twisted/warped deck. If you look at it from front to back, you can see it's twisted like 1/2". Only 3 wheels ever touch if you put it on a flat surface.
I don't think it is possible to untwist laminated wood. Should I just shim the trucks so at least they are level to one another?

well yeah, you shoul do that because there are some skateboard that when you jump to high it starts to twist, you can do that wirh the trucks or you can buy a more expencive board. oh and dont try to untwist it or otherwise is going to crack.

Depends, do you desire it for variety to cruise round? i say get a one with a satisfactory layout Mystery is a well option, if you happen to desire to make use of it for skating, get a Plan B,Element,or a Baker. My opinion im a Plan B man the entire manner. and if you happen to get one for skating opt for efficiency earlier than layout the layout is gonna get F'd up anyhow, For Trucks get a few thunders, and barrings get Bone swiss.
