I am not vs the Marcoses. Although the late President had created enemies I admire the good things he did for the country. The topic above sprouted on the issues on 21st September anniversary of Martial Law., prompting audience by way of radio or media to opine on different subjects including the pros and cons of Martial law, the negative and positive side of the Marcos administration. To my surprised nobody considers the above as question in our yahoo. So I did, hoping this is not infringement of reputation of others.

But he is ... or was, really, an enemy of Democracy. We all know this. And since we all know this to be an irrefutable fact, what good does enacting it into law benefit us? Do we want a heads on collision with the Marcoses in Congress?
I seem to remember a provision in the constitution that prohibits laws from being passed when they target certain people ONLY.
Do we need another constitutional crisis? I would really want rather for Senator Mirram to be a standup comedian again. So, let's go right ahead. Let's see what she has in store for those behind the bill.
House Resolution No. 1756 authored by Akbayan Representatives Walden Bello and Kaka Bag-ao may have some merit but maybe they could tone it down a little or reword it in such a way that they could still send their message acrosss without sounding vindictive. My thoughts.
Give details. What is the House Bill number, who are the authors, and what is the present status of this bill?
Or are you stoking fire? And are you ready with opinion contrary to yours? Your reply in one of the questions showed your strong bias for the Marcoses, and here you are, asking. What gives?
If this is true, then it appears to be a vendetta and only the Aquinos would be behind it. So, what exactly does the Bill state and what purpose does it serve.???
