My dog might have a bladder stone. How do I help him?

The vet says a surgery would cost $1,500 I can't afford that.
Is there a diet that helps with dissolving a stone?
Any other suggestions of how to keep him healthy without expensive Vet bills?

Talk to your local pet store. They often have vets that come in on weekends at a much more reasonable rate, and they have some other suggestions. They also may suggest changing the dogs diet for raw foods. But if your vet suggested $1500, I'm figuring your dog is already in a lot of pain? It may be too late to change the diet. Don't know of a quick way to dissolve stones.

Try different vets, find one that'll do payments. Find a rescue that has the founds to do surgery. Get a fund raiser started.
