Judge blocks portions of Alabama's new immigration law, what's your opinion?

Judge Blackburn ruled that the law contained portions that contradicted federal law, she blocked those leaving about 85% of the new intact. The laws vary from state to state, Alabama and Arizona have the toughest to California, where if you can elude the boarder guards you have access to all things available to the citizenry and some that aren't.

Where do you stand, should this be a federal thing only? If so, should we expect the feds to actually do something? Is total amnesty the answer? What do you think the solution is?

Were they not parts that could hold citizens criminally responsible for giving an illegal a ride or giving them a place to sleep for the night?

I found those a bit draconian - is a person, who wants to help a human being, going to be a criminal because they show kindness to someone who doesn't have papers. Are they expected to check everyone's papers?

This is what she will put through when Washington lets her - now it's illegal in Washington to do these things - Apparently the Obama Administration is in the way - again. He hates America apparently and wants to see her on her knees.
Make it a crime for an illegal immigrant to solicit work.

Make it a crime to transport or harbor an illegal immigrant.

Allow discrimination lawsuits against companies that dismiss legal workers while hiring illegal immigrants.

Forbid businesses from taking tax deductions for wages paid to workers who are in the country illegally.

Bar illegal immigrants from attending public colleges.

What the hell is going on in this country? If this is being blocked by the Federal Government, then yes, it should be a state issue. The Federal Government is trying to flood the country from the international NAPTHA highway imo and it's making it so lots of people dont' have work.
