Just had £30 fine for being in a bus lane 35 seconds past after time stated.?

I am stuck in traffic jam at lights indicating to pull out of bus lane cos its nearing 16.00 hours. is there no leeway for maneuvers in getting out of bus lane and into main stream traffic, seems a bit unfair when the lights are on red and there's no way I can get across to other lane.

So what was the question?  The City needs money, you broke the law.  Most people do not pay traffic tickets.  If you do not want to pay more, stop making stupid errors.

appeal the decision. if you could not get out because others would not let you you have a good case. was it a camera that caught you?
