What do you, personally, do when you can't find something?

I'm treating this kind of as a poll. I misplaced my scrubs uniform, I was out for a week due to getting my wisdom teeth out. I can't find where i put them and i usually fold them and sit them on the foot of my bed or hang them up. So, i clean to find something. What do you all do?

I freak out & my mind starts racing like crazy!
Then i remember the last time where I put it & start making a list
of where It might be. then I search those places & if something
pops into my head then that's where it usually is !

I get mad, go do somthing else, then run across it later! when i loose things they just come to me.
