Does Sprint charge for USB Tethering?

I know most Sprint services are free, like GPS and 4g, but they charge $30 a month for using your phone as a mobile hotspot. When I plug my phone into my PC, one of the options is USB tethering, but I don't know if that's included or costs extra.

If you've got an Android, you can download easy tether for free and they supposedly won't know. I haven't done it but have some friend who do. I'm with TMO so my tethering is free.
